He comes from a long line of Scottish philosopher/musicians, all descendents of the legendary Kode.

D1 is so underrated, one of the best out here, isn't nearly getting as much attention as he should!

100% agree.

He hasn't been too active last few years when the sound started getting a lot of recognition, so I think while a lot has been talked about other people, his name has undeservedly been left out a bit...but seems he wants to step it up a bit this year again.

He's as important to how the sound progressed as Skream/Digi Mystikz/Loefah etc imo.

His sound back then was perfect for Youngstas sets as well.
I don't turn on Korn to get it on, I be playin Digi Mystikz 'til the dawn

Not really feeling his new direction on Dub Police; bit too pop-y for me. These older sounds are dope... real sub bass vibes like on V1, 2 & 3.

Spot on. I love his new upbeat melodic sound, reckon he could bring some much needed musicality to the housier end of dubstep if he so wished.

The D1 tune I was asking about is Degrees. Picked up the 12 for £5! Sick tune.

Hm, dunno bout that really.
Toast is wicked as well, i don't really like to compare those two as they are both on another level imo.

But yea, if i had to pick someone i'd be task.
Best mc yet!
