***venue change venue change venue change***

VENUE CHANGE PLUG (Neutral Room), 14-16 Matilda Street, Sheffield, S1 4QD. THIS FRIDAY APRIL 21st , 2006.

Due to unforseen circumstances, the venue has moved just up the road (only about 100 yards form the original site on the same road) to PLUG at 14-16 Matilda Street. All other details remain unchanged including the heavy line-up and the heavy system.

Directions to the venue here: http://www.the-plug.com/modules/AMS/art ... storyid=37

SPREAD THE WORD!!

Yeah, the venue will be less intimate, but i reckon the sound will be even better (bigger system in total!) in plug. I can't go into details, but all i'll say is that we wouldn't do it unless we had to

There will be tickets on the door, but the advance ones are cheaper.

Easy...

Big up all crew for representing...

i didn't get to see everything cos i had to run around sorting stuff out, but i was talking to mala about 'learn'. Before friday i'd only heard it on the stella sessions set and i just could imagine how it'd sound on a proper system. All i'll say is :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

and torture... :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

tapped, earth a run red... i could go on and on and on and on...

Those unbelievably intense pure dread steppas tunes...

Those super-bouncy rollers...

Those occasional drops into utter soft sweetness...

WHAT a DJ. Superb flow from start to finish. Reminded me of great house DJs like Sneak or Derrick Carter for the way the whole two hours flowed, peaked, dropped and peaked again, reminded me of great techno DJs like Jeff Mills for the sheer headcaving intensity...

... but most of all he reminded me of Shaka for the sheer visceral, emotional, spiritual impact. And it takes A LOT for me to compare a DJ to Shaka.

Still walking on air...
