KRK VXT 6?

Anyone used the KRK VXT 6's for making dubstep on? I'm thinking of getting some and thought I'd ask the experts here I'm thinking about bass response, I use KRK Rokit 5's at the minute and they're ok but want to upgrade. YaGetMe...Or if anyone has any other options for around the same price the would be cool...

i use the vxt8's which are nice sounding monitors,i have my room treated and they do sound nice.I get a bit of a problem round the midrange on mine,it sounds quiet in the mix on the monitors then loud in my car or i pod so i am thinking this could be the speakers or the way my room is treated.either way they are a good sounding monitor so i would of thought the vxt6s would be similar in comparison just quieter with less bass response.I think my vxt8 go down to around 45hz or something like that but i got a sub too which i don't really need to use.the limiter on them is handy because of nob heads turning on other equipment before the speakers...yes i know it has happened.i think the limiters are just there for prevention of blowing them or something like that,i would of thought all the vxt series have them built in.Good choice in speaker in my opinion.

Nice one mate, thanks for the info! I think Im definitely going to go for them I think now, I used the VXT 8s for a little bit before but not for dubstep. Your tracks sound nice in your sig btw!

why not just add a powered sub to the set up?

yeah cheers bud,you should get the sub too its only 200 quid i think.look at the ergo room correction thing too its worth getting if you work the sub and the vxts at the same time.its a bit expensive but worth getting.
