JAPAN TSUNAMI FIRST HAND

Post by KappaDUBSTEP » Tue Mar 29, 2011 9:52 pm

i know its a somewhat of an old topic, but these vids that keep surfacing are so intense.
just wanted to see what your feelings are on the video.

hope they get back on their feet soon.
living in hawaii this could easily happen to us, and we would have nowhere to go. quite scary.

i think Hawaii would get wiped out if it happened, but you're not on a major fault line (if i remember my GCSE geography correctly) you're just above a thin part of the earths crust which is why you have a consistent lava flow and no earthquakes.

That video totally puts in perspective the power and sheer amount of water. In 6 minutes it goes from puddle depth to moving houses.

that's crazy.... I experienced the red river flood in the US in 1997 first hand... and the depth took a week or so to happen there, happened in about 3 mins in this vid, let alone that crazy ass current. Insanity
