Rent a soundsystem, put your own night on and there you go! You're in the Midlands, surely travelling somewhere to play is an option? Most promoters will cover your travel at least.

Stopping playing because you're not getting booked is waste. If you truly give a shit about music, you'll push on no matter what. Fuck it, start your own night or something if it's that much of an issue, concentrate on your production, start a weekly podcast etc etc.
