i use reason rewired through ableton at presant but am still just getting started with production and just wanna check that im not makin a mistake in using ableton instead of cubes.

is 6 much more CPU freindly than earlier version?

It might not be apparent now, but down the track you might run into CPU walls, partilculay if you are re-wiring.

I had big ideas going in ableton, but got to a point where I could not go any further in the song, even with all channels frozen.

iv had like 16 midi chanels and 4 audio all running and cpu never seems to go above 18%

I find reason crazy CPU freindly. I can flog the shit out of it and it runs.

Ableton cains me though. I do have a fucking shit lappy though.
