DAW of Choice?

Post by Skang » Thu Mar 31, 2011 5:31 am

This isn't meant to be something to say that one DAW is better then the next because we all know that's just a load of crap Just out of curiosity I want to know what the good people at DSF like to to use to make beats.

So I'll start.. I almost exclusively use FL Studio for pretty much everything, and Ableton once in awhile to record live shit and for Operator which I think is fucking bomb.

Edit: Making into a poll with no specific ones like Ableton Live or Suite or Logic 8 or 9 etc. Just keeping it simple. And I know some people might use more than one but again keeping it simple with one choice -q-

Check out DaMuseBlog for a beginner's guide to daws. Part 3 should be published tomorrow, so don't miss it. Part 3 is the best part! There is also this, a more specific discussion of Reason as it relates to the Beginner's Guide to Daws.

lemme tell you it is no childish toy...ive only been using it since fl 9 so ive only seen it while its good. much better than acid 7 for sure. but all daws do the same thing as long as they don't limit the user

PS: Why is Playstation in there?
...in my opinion

Talking more about the Fruity Loops 5ish days and for whatever reason people continued to look down upon it but now a days it doesn't matter, all preference blah blah etc. Like I said this poll is just a general survey :w:

And about playstation.. it's BALLER.

The Future:

Oh. Yeah.

Skream uses playstation so you know it's good.

Make sure you got enough memory cards though, 8mb isn't much!
