Re: Jens Madsen - Elektric (Need feedback)
yeah i like it, i think that wobble could maybe be a bit less distorted sounding, maybe bring the cutoff on the filter down a bit? really love that little blip that plays in synchronisation with the bass drum, maybe embellish that more - get some reverb or delay on it at some points then just as it is at other points, maybe have another blip a semi tone up from that one would sound good I think, nice track!

Re: Jens Madsen - Elektric (Need feedback)
Thanks for the feedback mate
That bassline has given me some trouble through the production of this track i must say. I had to bring the filter cutoff down because of the synth made some nasty sounds. I have tried cutting it offe even further, but it just sounded like the sound was watered down a bit - sadly. The 808 perc i run over the bass drum already have some reverb, if put put just a slight more on it, the sound reacts funny, but i don't know. I will try the thing with another perc running a semi tone higher. Thanks a bunch for the feedback mate. A mate of mine, RDG, will mix this down soon. Then i'll give it another go here

I', likin it mate, agree that the blip sound needs a little reverb or even a small delay on it to make it sound a little better. Apart from that though mate you got a good track here

Re: Jens Madsen - Elektric (Need feedback)
i like the rhythm you've got going with your sub but im not a fan of the LFO'ing it gets a bit repetitive for me on that straight pattern maybe you could try automating it for a bit of variation?
I also find that noise a bit brash as someone said further up it could maybe do with being fltered down a bit (i understand you tried it and it sounded crap but have a fiddle maybe or try taking the cutoff down and layering something else over the top)
I like all the perc, the kicks got a nice punch to it but not overly so if you know what i mean

The LFO'ing on the sub or the top part? I have thought about automation on the bass... but that wasn't really for this track - but that might just be me. And point taken, i will try and play some filtersandy static wrote:i like the rhythm you've got going with your sub but im not a fan of the LFO'ing it gets a bit repetitive for me on that straight pattern maybe you could try automating it for a bit of variation?
