Paranormal Activity 2, absolutely terrible, I mean really fucking awful.

Just watched this with the wife.
IT'S SO BAD.

Glad I'm not the only one, it basically fucks up the first movie in the process, plus a lot of shit just doesn't add up. I have no idea how they will pull off a third.

I just liked the air of mystery in the first, the demons motives were unknown, the back story about deals with demons, first born sons etc takes this away. There's also a fair few contradictions.
I don't recall saying that I wasn't aware that they planned to make a series anywhere though but feel free to correct me if you so wish.

what contradictions though? while neither are the best movies, it's definitely a welcome change of pace for the usual tripe hollywood tries to pass off as horror nowadays.

I'm not gonna bother with Paranormal Activity 2. Saw the first and liked it, but it's defo not a film where a sequel would work. Like Blair Witch.

A neat little story, very fun to watch. Set design, wardrobe, and cinematography are pretty nice, too.
