ok i give up whatever.
First, I was OBVIOUSLY looking for a download from a legit download considering I said (quote me) "wav's".
The guy after me obviously didn't like the fact that I was asking a question and had only several posts.
Well, ya gotta start somewhere. Been reading this forum for a while, know you guys just like to argue,
so i'm not going to further entertain the notion. I know several guys in beatports top 50 right now that,
also...have transcoded tracks. Most do. Of course we don't use them in mixes, its for practice run throughs until
the wav's released. Why would anyone ever even consider using a transcode live? Exactly. Haha, especially
when your getting a transcoded track strictly because the track hasn't been released.

Too long, didn't read: Done arguing over something one guy misunderstood and sent a shot at me about it.

Well you got an answer, that track isn't released and therefore you're gonna have to wait. I'm pretty sure Beatport has every other WAVs from Excision & Datsik

They have about half of em, there just waiting to release the tracks that everybody wants until they'd be considered the leftovers.
Same thing every label does.

to any other person, i WASN'T asking for a dl. I was looking for a WAV of the track. I only use wav's live. 320's re nice for personal collection,
but if you really want to stand out amongst the crowd you should be using FLAC 320's or wav's.
if you really want to stand out amongst the crowd you should try not playing datsik and excision, shit is saturated

If your actually asking that yes. A friends new track (Nameloc-Shutdown) was just released, after he had been using it for 8 months or so.

So THAT's what you're talking about ? It's the concept of dubplate and I think it has very little to do with labels and more with the artist himself who wants to generate hype on the track. That's probably what you're referring to when talking about Excision because he never seems to struggle to find a label for his productions.

Considering he owns 2 labels, it's not really surprising is it?

edit: Not that he would anyway, he's sick.

not sure if i can figure your motives by what you've posted, but playing unreleased music (unless it's a dub the artist gave to you) and/or youtube rips is a pretty good way to just say "hey i pirate music" ... and if you're playing it out, that's just on another level of ignorance. saying a 5 year old could find pirated music is basically also saying a 5 year old could find legitimate music, which means a quick google search of "mp3 store <artist> <trackname>" could yield your results. if you can't find it that way, guess what? it's probably not released. so don't get pissy on here cause someone shitted on you.

but as for audio quality... i doubt in a dance (especially one with people who want to hear excision or datsik) anyone is going to hear or CARE about the difference between 256, 320, or wav. saying you will stand out because of some slight differences in audio quality is pretty untrue. you'll stand out because of your mixing abilities, track selection, and stage presence. now if you have 128 kbps youtube rips that came out of another person's mix, that will make you stand out for other reasons
