Damn good FPS, Controls feel tight, Sound is great, graphics may not be up to the standards of the first one but the setting is fucking amazing. Great game IMO.

Thats the thing about opinions, everyone has one.

My opinion is that Crysis one was actually incredibly good for its time, If im not mistaken it recieved an almost overwhelmingly high and positive reception when it was released, voted game of the year across numerous magazines. Not to mention for its time it was simply a graphical monolith.

The crytek3 engine is quite simply (in my opinion of course) the best engine around, If you've played Crysis 2, you'll notice that the graphical capabilities are extraordinary and the drain on your system is nowhere near other recently released games *cough* black ops shitty world at war recycled engine *cough*.

It looks much better than the CoD games we've seen released recently, provides opportunities to do things completely your way (more or less), isn't as heavy on your computer as the first one, and...it's in a city, I can see so many potentials for mods when they come out. I just hope someone makes a clean city map with traffic and cars...sort of like GTA. :corndance:

But yeah, it's your opinion on the game like Astral said, I can't really change your mind once it's set on something. :)

Just saying the first one sucked... i know it's my opinion, that's why i said it... you don't have to tell me that's my opinion

anyway, i'm willing to give any game a try really, but OMG SUPERCOOL GFX isn't the best selling point for me.. which is why i didn't like the first one... good gfx, not much else

(btw guys those are opinions up there, just so you know that i know that what i said is an opinion. :w: )

it doesn't just have 'supercool gfx'.. the controls are tight and the gameplay far exceeds most other fps's on the market.
to me though the "selling point" is the nanosuit and it's ability's.

now go and buy the game and forget about your fucking opinions :W:

nah i just think theres no point in calling stuff shit for the sake of it, its like how much abuse inception got -- sure its got alot of cliches but its quite clearly not "shit"

This game is SICK.
Hugely impressed by the graphics on PS3. Looks far better than COD Black Ops, Bulletstorm, Killzone 3, all the newest games. The best looking part of the game is the motion blur and just how well the gameplay flows even when there's about 20 Ceph shooting you. Wish I'd started it on Hard difficulty because medium seems to make it fairly easy to run straight up to a Ceph Devastator with a Jackal and BANG him in the face about 10 times; DEAD.
The only thing I'd criticise is the story: I was COMPLETELY lost for about the first 5 levels because I didn't have a clue who anyone was, so it's not very friendly in that respect to those who haven't played the first one, but I can forgive that because of how awesome the story gets when you actually know who's who and what's what. Plus, the nanosuit pretty much makes you the invisible hulk. Will be playing this again for sure.

Haven't played the multiplayer yet, but I've heard good things about it. Hiding in a corner whilst cloaked with a shotgun seems like my cup of tea.

Personally, I'd say this game is a MUST for any FPS lover.

Really enjoyed this, although it didnt have the magic of the first one.
The first totally blew my mind after about 7 hours in with the whole mountain thing (you will know what im talking about if you have completed).

My one gripe is with the ending/last level (of 2), was very average especially compared to the end of the first one. I remember doing that and thinking.....this game is pushing the boundarys. I didnt really feel 2 pushes them, although I thoroughly enjoyed it.
