Yeah.
It is kind of an odd word...never really thought about it till now.
Tis a bit. Ive taken to say "On the regs" (regularly) in the last couple of years.. funny how you pick things up from places you go aint it?
Although saying that, I've been living up north for a good few months, and I haven't picked up ANY lingo. In fact, it's my housemates who have picked up my slang.

Funny that, i had my first jaunt oop narf a few weeks ago, and now i cant stop calling people 'duck' in a northern accent.
I do work with an old irish fella who comes out with some really weird sayings, so i pick those up and use them for my own amusement!

I'm Polish, while my boyfriend is from Essex... "Oi! Maa'in, could you pass me some baa'a please?"
Also, I keep on saying "man", even though both me and addressee are females... "You alrite, man?"
Doesn't help me with learning proper English, innit
I'm from the North and people say I have a weird way with words...just spout a load of shit half the time. Prefer the North East dialects to any other though, even if we do sound proper common!

the ratbags that remain in Britain can only speak a mongrelized version of English
the purest forms are preserved in the Antipodes
with the use of mate spreading thru West Coast for years, from contact with skip surfers.

If you're doing cockney rhyming slang you never finish the rhyme 90% of the time.
Me Ol' China would have done fine.
lol i don't think any of it was accurate
One day I may move abroad and try to pass myself as an authentic cockney, with a hugely exaggerated walk and made up rhyming slang. CORRR BLIIIMEY APPLES & PEARS OWS YER FATHER NOT MANY TO THE PAAAAND
"Cockney is an area of London where criminals live."

not to shit absolutely everywhere but its really not that good IMO, some bits are very clichéd and poorly done

well no, true, but being me i like to assume my opinion is of some importance, whether thats true or not
to be honest i mostly just hate it for that robot scene, that really really fucked me off and im not sure why
i had a little midlands slang in school when i used to visit my family near leicester once a year when I was like 15. my teacher always told me my english was wrong because I pronounced words like mug and duck not in the oxford english way. cuppa tea me duck? around 16 I had a funny belfast accent for half a year, too (incl saying LIKE all the time, like).
i´m a fan of the different slangs and just realized: I´ve never seen Human Traffic in english, always dubbed in german. I sampled that spliff politics scene and the Jungle DJ once
my favorite saying right now is Karl pilkingtons: It duz me had in
