How To Make A Skrillex Bassline

This was done in Massive, pretty close if you resample a few times! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O0S5GADY00

nice, but not skrillex at all...closer to the datsik signature bass, but more like a dumbed down version of it. im sure that with some resampling (combined with the knowledge of what effects to add [which I have none of]) it would sound closer to the datsik bass
...in my opinion

Yeah its not exact but its quite close. I always thought the Skrillex and Datsik synths kind of sound the same. At least it has a resemblance unlike some of the videos i have seen lol. Thanks for checking it out dude :W:

Well other than the fact they they both hav their signature 'growls' they are very different. DatsiK is more of robotic brostep but skrillex is more like cinema foley type stuff...skrillex is closer to the heavy, metal/screamo side of dubstep.
...in my opinion

How To Make A Skrillex Bassline?

Sample his original, pitch down/up and rearrange the hits in a few places VIOLA! you have perfect skrillex basslines with zero effort.

Otherwise find the interview where he talks about how he does his basslines... straight form the horses mouth.
