This spring at SAWA, we’ve got the strongest line-up yet with two nationally respected producers in the shape of Jamie Grind & Hackman alongside a local future bass producer whose recent output is sure to be getting attention from blogs all over the web in the next few months – Kidnap Kid. And if that’s not enough all you lovely ladies get for free if you arrive before 11.30!

HACKMAN was last present in Sheffield at our September event, when we welcomed him to the Harley for a session during Fresher’s week. Despite it being a Monday night and not a single fresher in sight, it was a wicked dance and his Tech-House take on the Bass music scene was an absolute joy and something not always found in the Steel City.

Joining him is the brains behind hugely influential Leed’s club night Modulate - JAMIE GRIND. Pushing the similar percussive elements found in Tessela, Hackman and Hodge productions, Grind has got his finger firmly on the pulse of contemporary dance music complete with swung Garage beats, warped vocals and distinctive drum patterns.

As if these two weren’t enough to wreck the upstairs room we’re overly hyped for what KIDNAP KID is going to add to proceedings. Over the last few weeks he’s been passing us some choice dubplates and frankly, even if you’ve seen this guy play out before you are not ready – trust.
