I can say I watch every episode and the first movie! I even went cinema... The series is tuff! Plus it's great to watch with your girlfriend as well.

This I agree with...the rest though, agree to disagree. Although Samantha is a grade A gilf (even though she's isn't technically a Grandmother, I still put her in this bracket due to age).

Thank you.

The characters and the writing are just much stronger in the US version. In the UK version you've got David Brent, Tim, Gareth, and Dawn. The rest of the characters are completely unremarkable.
That's the point, it's a mockumentary not a bog standard network sitcom. All the US characters are over the top caricatures that just make's the show unrealistic and loses character development, they don't feel like real people so you lose the sense of attachment and don't really care what happens to them.

Don't get me wrong it's still a good show, but completely different 'softer' humour. But, IMO, the UK one is far better written and is a much higher quality. It didn't get milked and dragged for series and series.

All British series Americanised are horrible. Americans just don't do British humor. Sorry!

Forgot this. Show is absolutely brilliant. I liked the Shield as well but reckon Sons Of Anarchy is way better.

Spartacus, Blood and Sand
so bad it is good, unnecessary violence, unnecessary swearing, unnecessary full frontal, unnecessary CGI.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA

(the remake)

really deep and philosophical at the same time. very story driven, each episode really pushes forward the plot a lot. i got obsessed with it over the past month and have been watching all of it. The allusions to real world goings on are brilliant; in fact the UN loved all its messages about war and torture and stuff and made it like the official series of the UN so at every conference theres loads of Battlestar Galactica characters there as well.

Fucking Brilliant 8)
watched all of battlestar v2. watching caprica right now. BSG One of the better series of the past decade or so... especially if you're a sci-fi geek

i thought it got better as theey went along. slowed down on the focus blood slow-mo, got a bit more political. shame the main character got cancer, theyd have had the second series out by now. still, he's alright, which is the main thing!

The Killing starting off fairly awesome

The Confession (web series on hulu) is good

Chicago Code is pretty decent cop show

Camelot just started and seems like it's going to be decent

Justified also is back and is another great FX show

my current tivo'd shows

ended up watching all of sparticus and the prequel. Were surprisingly great
