First attempt at a Dubstep tune.

Post by Pulp » Sun Apr 03, 2011 7:31 pm

Or any electronic music really, main thing is playing guitar in a Hardcore band.

I got a few VSTs the other day, so have been playing around and came up with this:

Let me know what you think :)

Cheers.

Sounds cool for a first try, I'd work on choosing decent sounds and layering your drums to get a bigger sound. Other than that its a good start mate.

I like it alot sounds very good for first attempt. I think if i didn't know any better, it would be a unreleased track of early UK Dubstep :]

Pretty heavy without being obnoxious, I like it.I think you could cut the length down quite a bit and still retain it's power. Maybe introduce that final bass section as the regular chorus throughout the tune
