buying each 'part' of track

hey
i want to make a remix and ideally would like to get the original song in parts (eg vocals, instrumental etc)
how do i go about getting this?

watch for contests, follow artists you like on facebook/twitter. occasionally artist will offer up "stems" which you can download and remix. also the production page has a monthly contest with a bunch of pieces of tracks.
