Remixing vocal quality
`How do artists edit their vocals when doing remixes? Notably Zed's Dead female vocals, Skrillex's clear quality with a bit of glitch, and female vocals, Nero's clarity and Bare Noizes clarity. What software are they using to make it so crisp, and effected? If there is a tutorial I can see?

Time stretching...I do it by ear in ableton and throw it back into logic. Work a charm. I dont really trust the software to do it by itself but if you are going to do it I hear Pro tools is the best for itzawmbee wrote:`How do artists edit their vocals when doing remixes? Re: Remixing vocal quality
quite like loading vocals into recycle and chopping into small sections (good danny byrd tutorial online about it somewhere). lots of glitch plug ins in about (some awesome reaktor ensembles about for this kind of thing). also in terms of an allinonemakeitsoundsexy tool check out izotope nectar
