my massive preset collection

Post by TRNSPLNT » Mon Apr 11, 2011 10:49 pm

lots of people seem to be very protective of their preset banks, but fuck it.

pretty much all my massive preset bank. theres a mix of a few presets ive acquired from others and stuff i have made myself. but its quite an extensive collection. ive got bored of using and modifying the same presets so im gonna start from scratch.nothing too special just thought id share.

if anyone else has anything to share it would be appreciated.

Enjoy

*edit - did now know an fl studio file was in there. shows how old this folder is, i haven't used fl studio for like 2 years. ive reuploaded the files without the fl studio file.

I was gonna do this the other day with my Alchemy presets (not on this forum actually, somewhere else) but then I re-formatted my HD and they were the ONE thing I forgot to copy accross :\

Ah well, always good to get a fresh start.

I don't use massive myself but hopefully some newbies will find this helpful, nice one man!

It's 4.05 MB. For some reason there was an FL studio 8 launcher in there?

Oh, so this guy, who's made some synth patches with a crappy synth gets soooooo many thanks a likes, but me, a guy who replicated Datsik bass from a fucking snare drum sample, gets hate.

Yeah, way to go DSF.

I didn't share FOR thanks, it's just that I think it's stupid that people flock to something just because it's made in Massive, when I posted a technique that maybe people didn't think of or knew about and it got almost 0% love.

Just be like:

Take a snare drum sample.

Put reverb on it.

Put dry volume on 0%, decay time 0.1MS, and reverb 100%.

Record the snare drum hit, but take out every thing but the very end noise it makes, and save that little sound and loop it. It sounds just like a robot bass sorta dealio.

i didnt share for peoples gratitude, although that is a positive. i shared as i thought others might get some help or something, and ive made a personal decision not to reuse the same old presets ive been using for the last 3 years or so lol.

I didn't see your thread but I'm guessing if you got hate then it was either because your 'technique' were shite or you were an ass about it.

I don't rate massive either but a lot of people on here do and this guy was trying to do a good thing for the community. Unlike that djgnome prick who tried to charge people a tenner for a few shit patches.

I haven't listened to this dudes stuff so I dunno if it's any good but the fact is that he was *trying* to do a good thing. He didn't use it as an excuse to spam his tunes or ask for feedback or any of that bullshit so I respect that.
