Basic A. - Primary Target / My Lazerz (Midrange Cack)
I went back on a wobble vibe for a few days last week and got a couple done, throwin em up for good looks. Just clips, forgive it, but low-bitrate rip piracy... lame...

Enjoy, DJs feel free to hit it up for 320's, this isnt going to be everyone around heres cup of tea, but meh, cant be all deep n moody all day, Id go nuts.
Feedbacks cool or whatever but they arent changing and technicals arent my thing so... yeah, might wanna check somewhere else for production advice.

loved the intro with just an easy going beat with your pad.. smooth intro.. liked the different style of basslines you got goin on here than the normal basslines you would hear on a daily listen. Variation of the basslines with the stabs you got there flowed really well. Seemed a bit short to me.. overall, nice track man ! i think you could lower the midrange a bit and would suit the track.. maybe just me..
Cheers

My god, nice work. These are absolutely jaw dropping. Any chance for some Primary Target stems? I got some mad ideas for a remix.

Its just a clip man! Had some piracy problems =/ ... As far as the midrange goes I tohught about it but theres like, loudness wars going on and in that tune in particular everything else is pretty held back and minimal so there was alot of spare headroom even beyond what Id normally leave for an m.e. ...PR1NCE wrote:loved the intro with just an easy going beat with your pad.. smooth intro.. liked the different style of basslines you got goin on here than the normal basslines you would hear on a daily listen. Primary Target is a bit tied up but we'll see what happens, had some discussions about releasing it and Percept's already got remix dibs haha, but I might try to get a few more done who knows.KermitDubstep wrote:My god, nice work. shit that first one is dope. only thing i would do is detune the second bass down an octave (the one thats really random and high), just because otherwise it gets kind of grating...
the second one is sick too but needs a big helping of snare drum
nice ones man!

VERRRY Interesting clinkety clinkety synth noise at the drop, does not really change up enough for me, but I have BAAAAAD ADHD, still a cool tune.

Bah humbug. Grating... I wanted grating midrange noises, like I said, backing off the deep for a minute haha, I know what you mean though... Second one is off for mastering, that snares a gunshot on a good horn.TheSoup wrote:shit that first one is dope. only thing i would do is detune the second bass down an octave (the one thats really random and high), just because otherwise it gets kind of grating...

Yeah I feel you, you gotta trust the second drop and shit but idk, Im a DJ so I get that complaint alot about my progressions... guess all I can say is book me/check my mixes, I make this shit to play a couple at once lol sooooo... Might have to look into a homelistener re-edit or something? IDK, we'll see what happens.Monstro wrote:VERRRY Interesting clinkety clinkety synth noise at the drop, does not really change up enough for me, but I have BAAAAAD ADHD, still a cool tune.

Primary Target is next level.... such a clean mix as someone already said, an example of that robostep sound tastefully done
. And a Percept remix on the cards you say???

Sounds good Basic, I agree though that you need to change things up a bit with the wobbles.
It tends to sound the same the whole way through.

Mix is sounding really clean, but the bass you used really didn't hit me with a 'wow' effect. I know you usually don't produce 'Midrange cack' , but since you might in the future, I'll do a little review about your bass
Try to make your basslines as interesting as possible. In primary target the first bass is pretty nice, but the wobble bass just has no power behind it at all, just plain flat wobs. Try to put some motion into your wobble, make it go all the way up and all the way down again , rather than just a faint wubwub
Same for your My Lazerz tune, there's somewhat more interesting stuff going on your basslines, but it sounds really unclean, esp in that 'lazerbass' you named your tune after , try to clean up those sounds and imo you'll be a great brostep producer
