Howdy everybody,
for the ones who might be interested:
Check out all the Dubstep artists in the Social 100 DJs List, the 100 most popular DJs in the world. Skrillex is already #16, Rusko #17. Datsik, Caspa, Excision, Nero and more are all on the rise as well
http://www.hypethatsound.com/social-100-djs
If you know of any other DJs with more combined fans than the recent #100, please let us know, thanks!
Cheers,
Nick

Not a list I can relate to in anyway but it's good that they explained their methodology clearly. Also when on earth did Richie Hawtin become so popular?

uh why isnt aphex twin #1? You know he gets paid more than all of them to dj. That entire list is null & void.

looks more like a list of 'djs who are well known for bandwagon jumping, and/or shitty commercial pop music'

He's never struck me as a DJ that regular joes would dig, look at the names that surround him on that list after all.

that list made me

"There is a lot of tension in the music that carries a satisfactory darkness with it, but it's also lazy music. You don't have to dance hard to move with it. It was born with a reefer in it's gob."

Just cos they're popular doesn't make them good. It just shows people are stupid.

#88 for netsky thats nice but still the list is shity, there are much less famous djs that can DJ way much bether then this top 100
It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.
