Grindy Sub Bass

Post by Quasi118 » Sat Apr 16, 2011 12:18 am

I'm terrible at creating any form of sub bass so i'd like some insight as to how they got the bass to sound like this or even if it is a sub bass. I'm not trying to copy this sound i just think its amazing and would like to know the process behind it.
I'm talking about the bass in this song best example would be at 2:20-2:30 :
"it's like I just learned how to assign the lfo to cutoff all over again."

Use the search function. There are too many threads explaining this stuff.
Sawtooth waves. Distortion.
Do you say zerbaman? Or do you say zebraman?
