DMZ Leeds withdrawl

Post by signus » Sat Apr 28, 2007 2:18 pm

Last night was some damn good. Youngsta and Skream did it for me as per. The dirty bass faces goin on throughout the room were fuckin brilliant. The Loefah remix of 50,000 Watts on that rig :o

It's not even been 12 hours since I had intense bass flowin through me and I'm already gettin withdrawl symptoms
Shouts to Bert and Kid Kaz, good to meet you boys and you too Mr UFO. Largin up Si Scott and the promoters as well

:P:

heavy night :D

All I can say, again, is "sound system has done miracles". Best tune in the whole world, ever. On 10 Iration Steppas bassbins.

Big up everyone. easy signus, kid kaz, boomnoise, grand, all the london crew, and huge shouts to everyone who bought a Hessle Audio record :D

If you're getting withdrawal, come down to ruffage on wednesday to satisfy your fix. Shameless plug

I didn't see you in there, Signus, but glad you had a good one. Take it easy

Yes!

MASSIVE night. Absolutely large all the way through...highlight for me was Skream smackin it all the way through his set...was siiiick! and Lemon gets me every time..pure skank out vibage!

D1s set was fairly intense though, liked the tribal vibes on a lot of his tunes.
and toward the end of Yunxs set it was just TOO much! Yunx hypes everyone so much its wicked.
Ya know what right there wasnt a highlight for me at all it was all equally bangin!

My body's achin and my ears are still ringin like fuck so i must have done something right! Those 3 stacks were MEATY!!

Si Scott's done it ONCE AGAIN! Big ups to everyone involved

.....time for more rest! :R:

Last night was all about Hatcha & Benga for me.Pure dancefloor business. That last tune that Benga played was absolutely stupid.
Plastician killed it as well though i was a little worse for wear by that point( are you stupid in the face?)
Mystikz and Loefah destroyed the building with some ridiculous Basslines, what was the tune that got 2 instant rewinds during their set??

Massive night that soundsystem is immense the 3rd stack needs to be a permanent fixture. Not that two aint enough.
It was a couple of my friends first big Dubstep night and they couldnt handle the Bass they said it made them feel sick, spent all night in the 2nd room :o :o

How does the Iration System compare to the stack at DMZ London?

I'm no soundsystem expert but IMO Iration is definitely louder and the bass more gut-wrenching but sometimes the high-end is a little indistinct compared to DMZ stack. Literally some tunes where you're just hearing bass patterns and can't make much more out. But as I said I'm no expert and I might be talking shite...

Yeah mate as good as Exodus is, I reckon the atmosphere at DMZ Brixton just makes it the best rave out there, dubstep or otherwise. Bare energy in that room and everyone's so safe

Fully enjoyed last night.

What a system!! Probably the best rig I've played on for dubstep.

Big up everyone skanking til the end with the lights on.

Next time I play on that rig I'm cutting dubs for it though - Allen & Heath mixers do not really do Serato much justice on a rig as big as that and I want to punish the rave with a bit more chest weight.

Big up Si, Iration and all the gang.

Untold jokes all the way there on the mini bus as well - it was like a dubstep jolly boys outing!!!
