best way to remix

hey guys i was just wondering how do remix a song into dubstep song e.g. Skream in for the kill. if you have any tutorial links that would be great :corndance:

Haha,that is awesome.

But anyhow, to answer the OP, I find thebest way to remix asong is to get an acapella and find the tempo.

I often then look up guitar tabs or chords and lay them over the track as just a sine wave, just to get it sounding a bit more together.

Then I do a simple kick snare drum beat.

This is when the creative part starts. I'll start to beef up the midi fromthe sine wave in a synth, add a few wobbles or whatever. Addsome stabs / FX. Beef up the drum beat with hi's and the rest just falls into place.

I tend not to change the acapella that much, apart from during the 'drop'. I like to glitch it up a bit and stuff.

But this is just the way I do it. Everyone has their own ways of doing it, there's no really hard fast way of doing it.

If everyone just followed a formula, remixeswould be shit and unoriginal.

Best way to go is just practise and experiment.
