Re: Gemini Products?
they are cheap and you get what you pay for simple as that
Re: Gemini Products?
My friend Biff on this board has the lower quality ones and they are terrible - they never really worked.
I bought the CDMP-6000. One side broke so I sent it in and they sent me a new set. Good customer service. Since then they've worked fine. If you buy some, make sure your don't buy ones with the rubberish buttons.
And also the problems on mine before I sent them in were pretty bad. The pitch selector (8, 12, 24%) would change when it felt like it, sometimes I couldn't turn on the pitch changer, the looper wouldn't work, and the play button would be tempermental and not work for the most part. But it only did this sometimes. It could work fine for part of the time.

Re: Gemini Products?
Same goes for Numark and Stanton. I had went with the Numark NDX 800, thought i'd save myself some money for a case and stuff. Now 6 months later, the cue button on my one deck is broken, so I have to cue it up in scratch mode like vinyl. :/ Have a show coming up soon, but after that I'm sending it to numark to get it fixed.
