Captiv dubstep and electro
I've posted some previews of some tracks I've been working on. I'm wondering what you guys think.
This is a dubstep track I'm working on:

Awesome stuff, I'll be waiting for the full tracks. In the second track, there's this sound in the background from 7 seconds that's out of tune with the song, but the melodies in both the tracks are fluid and awesome to hear. I REALLY like the drop in the second track. By the way, at 1:04 of the Light intro, what did you use/do for that reese-sounding wobble? I've been trying to get that sound, but I haven't gotten close.

hi dude...
like it man.. !!!
nice bass..
maybe eq some highs to the second bass-sound..
and the pads ore strings ur using sounds a bit too warm and soft for my ears.
and the snare on the 4 in the main part is not in time... (exept u you want it like that)
but realy nice intro + drop.. and basswork !

Thanks for the comments.
That noise at 7 seconds was a sample so I didn't think of tuning it. I'll get it in tune. The bass at 1:04 is made in massive. It's just one oscillator on the deep throat wave form with bend -/+ on. There's also quite a bit of distortion applied in massive.sssShawnnnn wrote:Awesome stuff, I'll be waiting for the full tracks. I also had a feeling the bass had a little too much highs. Are you talking about the snare in the beginning of the second track or in the dubstep part?XeniK wrote:hi dude...

Re: Captiv dubstep and electro
awesome sounds- but I miss a little difference in volume on the drops, idk i think that's just a thing of mine, I always make my drops louder than the rest of the track- and sometimes i think your flow is blocked by the build up swelling sounds you use, maybe those are a little too loud/ still have some low frequencies left, again that's just my personal listening expierience. All in all nice work.
Here's what I sound like

Re: Captiv dubstep and electro
Now that you point it out I think the intros and buildups are a little too loud in comparison to the drops as well. I'll be tweaking my limiting, compression, and eqing quite a lot.
