Dave Q is the founder and resident DJ at New York's seminal dubstep night, Dub War. He started Dub War in June 2005 to promote UK dubstep and it has since gone on to become the biggest dubstep party in North America, bringing top name UK DJ's to play their debut US shows, including Kode 9, Loefah, Mala of Digital Mystikz, and Skream. DQ is a Dub War resident alongside Joe Nice and MC Juakali and has played across the country spreading the dubstep virus, recently dj'ing at the DMZ 2 year anniversary in London. Dave also runs Dub War recordings.
JUAKALI

Juakali was born in Trinidad and is presently living in Brooklyn, NYC. He is the resident MC of North America's premier Dubstep event; ‘Dub War’ and has most recently come to prominence as the voice of the internationally fueled bass driven crew ‘Sub Swara’. He was the featured vocalist with live dub band Babylon Station on two Eastern European Tours and his two singles; “Run Babylon” (Gunjah Rec. GJSP003-Winter ’05-’06) and “FF01” (White label, Summer ’06) reflect the beginnings of ground breaking work. His unmistakable ragga stylings have been in great demand in the past months. Look out for a slew of forthcoming releases in collaboration with various luminaries within Dub, Dubstep, Electronic and World Music genres across the globe.
