If skrillex was at the forefront of dubsteps evolution then wouldnt he be mixing an allstars compilation or be playing at a well known dance?? mortal kombat is an embarassingly terrible franchise these days

I think the main thing being overlooked is that Mortal Kombat is a fail franchise in 2011 and played a massive part in bankrupting Midway Games.

That said in the event a dubstep song was used in a Mortal Kombat commercial it would be not reason to celebrate nor would it be a sign of taking over the world.

All i'm saying is Dubstep has evolved. Yes, there's still the chill mellow side to the scene, but there's also the newer side that has taken music to the next level. It pulls from other genre's and brings it in to one. Is it really a bad thing?
