Post by dr Fleischman » Thu Apr 28, 2011 8:25 pm

Hello to everybody.

Can you recommend any dubstep tunes suitable for horror movie soundtrack?
I need something dark and violent :corndance: .

It has to be aggressive like this:

Thanks!

Not aggressive but you can't get more darker than this track. Always thought it would be perfect for a horror score.

If I was watching a horror movie and suddenly a tune like that got played, I would fucking laugh.
Seriously, I'm doubting you have ever seen a proper horror movie?

Nah man, the tune in the OP could work in a horror movie, if it was about how the CEO of circus records went mad and went back in time and killed El-B, Skream, Mala, Pinch etc so the only Dubstep that ever existed was like that..... :o :o :o :o :o :o

Hate how YouTube will never do this tune justice.

Most, if not all, horrors have atmosphere. The track that OP posted does not.

This does:

this tune is hype, but i think it would be fitting for either a car chase scene, or a cat and mouse chase for like jason or scream

I'm not saying the tune I posted is good for horror movie, I was only referring to it's aggression.

Many thans for the tracks and I'm looking for more :) .

I think skream would be perfect for a horror, and then at the end of the final scene into ending credits....

Dubstep would not really work in a horror movie

The more sparse and atmospheric and stuff from wolf eyes, nevari butchers, Envenomist etc would be good. Especially as when wolf eyes go all ambient it does just sound like the soundtrack to the orignal Texas chainsaw massacre soundtrack.
