this!
and the showers actually are reasonable. never too long of a queue (especially if you went to the one further up toward the camp entrance, by the bakery). go during off-peak hours to get hot water though.

It's my first time this year, going with 5 others.
I've camped at loads of festivals before but the thought of having to leave our passports in the tents is not something we'd like to do. So, apartment it is!
We'll be flying from Mancs to Venice, then either getting a taxi or outlook transfer.

Passports are taken off everyone staying at the campsite, for safekeeping and kept in the safe at the campsite office.

Yeah as the above post says, passports are kept safe.
Also, a taxi from Venice to Pula would be an absolute rinse! There is a perfectly good bus that'll take you there.

what is of value and wisdom for one man seems nonsense to another.

You've clearly never been to Newcastle then? Actually exactly like that.
Outlook does have its fair share of stnuc but it's still awesome.

But they all seemed like such nice people on Byker Grove, where did it all go wrong?
I honestly don't remember there being too many wankers at Outlook, but I was
heavily under the influence/hungover 85% of the time.

Dun noe Outlook. Volunteering this year so free ticket and accommodation (camping, don't get haps)
Campsite is the place to be though, you meet soooo many people, everyone is so nice. You're close to the beach, showers and fort. Showers are kept in good condition. Fuck staying in an apartment, it's a fucking star trek to get to the fort. When you've been dancing for 7 hours, you don't want a long walk home.
One time I found a worm in the lettuce of my burger. I still ate it though.

It's a legit campsite in it's own right so (i'm guessing) it's available nearly all year round. 100% it's available on the 31st of August, yeah.

Should be open from the beginning of the week I reckon. There were already loads of people there when I got there last year. Anyway, it's a general campsite so it was open for non-festival people so I don't see why they'd turn you away if you were a few days early.

We just decided we're staying at the campsite, somehow I imagine this to be exactly like the phat campsite - but more dust, less mud. woop woop, gonna be mental!
