Why not, i mean:
Toolman4 wrote: I'm wondering if 1. you load samples into one hits which are different notes of a sound made in a synth..such as a 'D' note, and an 'F' note, etc...or 2. are you loading different starting points of a 4 bar sustained 'D' note, or can you do both...and can you mix parts 1 and 2 as long as you stay in key?
-[2]DAY_- wrote:you can resample particular notes, as well as bars of sustained modulated notes (i.e. envelopes and LFOs) then experiment with the sample-start parameter on your sample, transposition, pitchbends, sequencing, amp envelopes, etc.

This actually seemed constructive and that's why I replied. It's a forum, what else are we gonna do here
Besides the OP who is here to tell everyone that drawing MIDI data makes you a bad producer.

I swear i fucking hate this place and the only reason i always come back is because i hate my fucking job even more, so there you go. I actually got an inquiry recently via PM asking why I always seem mad in my posts. I replied that yes, I absolutely am always mad. Mainly because I'm dissatisfied with everyone around me, IRL and online. Fuck.

DSF does suck, but it lets me ask questions that just might be answered by someone who isn't up their own ass.

You said it well. IMO This guy should be banned for the amount of disrespect he puts out.

Who made you the god master of music?

RESPECT.

If you're trying to motivate people to produce better music you're going about it all wrong.

This is a great community of musicians on here and you sir are a cancer.

learn how to use a time based processors then come talk dub with me.
Way over my head, all that reverb and delay shit. Can I still talk to you, Bob Marley? I'm no purest, and I'm quite amazed how soon after hearing Skrillex you are one. You must be the messiah! Lord, bless this man, for he is the second coming! He came to DSF to share with us that dubstep is missing an MPC, the only way to give it that live feeling. Can I get an amen brothers and sistas!

dude you keep saying dub as if DUBSTEP IS DUB...NO IT IS NOTTT!!!! yes dubstep has some influences from dub but you need to stop talking about the two genres as if it is one! and besides that Dub was popular in the 60's-70's we are in 2011 now buddy, either catch up or fuck off! :t:

i usually come out peaceful and shit. not this time. out of my few posts, you are the first one that made me react like this... so,

Op, i am going to ask you, on a personal level, to change your attitude about life.

otherwise you will make everybody here a bunch of sad pandas.

You are wrong. There are things i do by resampling, others i do without resampling. the two techniques give different results... the ideas you push are wrong on so many levels... i dont even want to assess them as i have tunes to make and couple books to finish... u should grab one.

ps : I own an mpc, and i've owned several. I can play them with no quantizing and still come out tight... because i've practiced. i could use them to do what dnae does... i could not use them at all. you are wrong.

pss : purest is spelled purist.

psss : 99% of what u write is failure and garbage, kid.

This ...I find...Hilarious.... I checked out mushrooms "website".... ;-) ;-) ....... for all his big talking.... might make more impact, and mean more, if everything hes showing off wasnt so amature.... and not saying my stuffs any better, tbo, I'll let other decide that one lol... but trying to be a big talker on the internet, implying your better then everyone... thats all you'll ever be, some ass on the internet, that attitude will get you nowhere....

internet asshole = forever internet asshole (unless they change into the next guy I talk about)

nice, awesome, funny guy, thats easy to talk to, and doesnt mind helping people out = a person that will most likely go somewhere with there music
how so?
because being that person, others will help out that person when they need help...and I know this first hand, cuz I used to talk shit like that too, and it did nothing but hurt everything I was working towards and basically pushed me further away from my goal...

all an all... dont be an ass, its just not necessary and gets no one anywhere...
:t: :t: :t: 8) 8) 8)
