Justin himself has nothing to do with dubstep whatsoever....

But I have remixed the "My Love" tune with that one focus of making it something you can mix with dubstep.

But I'm afraid I do not understand your question, really?

Funny question.

The tune was free for a certain amount of time. Alot of people got it, and it got posted on blogs (where you can still get it actually).

But the tune has been changed now and a legal version (without Justin) are up for release.

Therefore I myself won't be giving it away anymore. I don't consider it a free tune anymore. And I would rather want people to hear the legal version when it's out.

So yes, I would mind if somebody else just posted it on here.
I can't stop people from sharing it, as it is possible with every tune (free, bought, hacked), I know...


I'm very open for your opinions on this.

Is it stupid?
Is it pathetic?
Naive?
Or is it okay?

the way i see it, when i post tunes on here, i consider them free game from the minute i put them up. to download / share / trade etc. but if i send someone a link personally or on aim. then it's just for them and they should keep it to themselves. at least that seems to be the etiquitte i've picked up on thus far. and a good way to give something away while keeping a lid on it for possible future release. really what i was wondering was if i had permission to ask someone else to give it to me. not that it be re posted. which is kind of shady i guess :oops:
basically as an aspiring producer i wouldn't do anything with someone else's music that i wouldn't want done with mine. and if you don't want it givin away anymore than i totally respect that. obviously im just dissapointed that i missed the boat on this one :cry:

Ez,

As I wrote, I can't stop people from sharing any tune via mail, msn, or whatever... and it's still up on various blogs, like Hype Machine...

And in a while the final version will be out on vinyl. ;)
