Dirtiest dubstep I've ever made.

Post by Mike Huber » Mon May 02, 2011 9:35 am

Just spent the past 20+ hours working on this track. I played around with a lot of different sounds, and here's something I came up with. Hope you guys like it :)

I like it when the beat dropped, I think you should polish it abit, I dont dig the transition. otherwise i think it sounds pretty sick. what software do u use?

Sick ass wobbles bro, no lie. White and Les were right, the transition is a little rough, but overall it was really good. Way better than anything I could do right now :}

Thanks for the feedback guys :) I need to smooth out a few spots in the track for sure. I got kind of lazy towards the end of my night because my computer was starting to really bog down :/ I just wanted to get the whole idea down so I could mix down an mp3. And I use FL Studio by the way. And all the sounds were made with NI's Massive. Save for the keys.

Nice synths! ^ they pretty much covered the critique. You didn't spend 20 hrs straight on it did you? Lol. Remember you wanna take breaks every few hours so you don't get annoyed by the tune you're creating, and go back with a fresh mindset. Helps a lot :D

I quite like this, but the levels sound a little wrong, like the wobbles aren't really integrated with the rest of the track... and I think I'd prefer a half-step rhythm on the drop... oh I'm such a conventional thinker

Main filth has TOO much mid low, the kick needs more volume, low end energy and punch. God some good grossness to it anyways.
