Will watch.

Always hear good things about him but have never properly watched him.

Football terraces has ruined that song, all I can picture now when it's on is beer bellied northerners jumping up and down going 'NERR NERR NUH NERRRR'.

I like Stewart Lee's stand-up but found the first Comedy Vehicle pretty awful if truth be told. Especially the sketches.

Plus his smug fans that think he can do no wrong in their eyes make it worse.

The sketches were shit but the stand up was great.

Yeah I probably ain't doing it justice really, I just remember looking really forward to it then being let down. All I can remember now was the Asher D biography bit which was quite amusing.

Still, I'm glad the BBC are commissioning this type of comedy as a counter to the Two Pints of Lager shite on BBC3.

I thought the sketches weren't supposed to be that funny, they were the 'comedy vehicles'....

Stewart Lee used to be so so awesome. 90s Comedian is still probably my favourite stand up show ever, but his more recent stand-up shows and his TV shows have been nowhere near the mark. He's rehashing a lot of his stuff these days too. Disappointing.

I really liked it. Admittedly not as strong as some of his previous work but it still had me in tears of laughter. Hope it gets a bit better, still.

Enjoyed it. Nothing spectacular, but had me laughing all the way through and it's a damn sight better than everything else on TV.

I'm glad he eased up on the sketches.

Shame, this is the same material he used for when I saw him in Cardiff a couple of weeks ago. Was very good though.

I guess that's the thing, he's still a lot better than most comedians, especially ones on TV, but compared to his earlier stuff it just doesn't stand up. [EDIT: Excuse the awful unintentional pun]

Seriously 90's comedian, watch/listen to it. An hour of absolute gold. I've probably seen it a dozen times now and it still has me in tears.

A clip:

Nowhere near the best part, but was all I could find on youtube in my 30 seconds of searching
