Bass Kills!!!

Post by impatientpiranha » Mon Apr 30, 2007 7:12 am

Check it out. Wired magazine says we could all be making a trip to the hospital.... http://www.wired.com/news/medtech/0,1286,64829,00.html

Seriously....if you're bass is hard enough to collapse a lung....DAMN!! If that doesn't give you braggin rights, I dunno what does. I watched a bassline knock all the flyers off a table one time, but that's no collapsed lung!!

A wonderful way to go, for sure. Death by square wave. Losing the lowpass limbo. Ruptured woofer. Collapse by kilowatt. 30Hz fibrillation. Meat basstrap. Drum lung. Victim of the wub ... It goes by many names.

I remember Sapphic Beats saying this happened to one of her friends at a dubstep gig. I've definitely felt a bit of breathlessness when the pressure gets too much though, but I usually just wander elsewhere for a bit and then return later.
Hmm....
