5 massive headliners spread across 2 rooms throughout the night... and it’s all taking place somewhere a little bit different this time.
Breach - the artist also known as ‘Ben Westbeech’ is a singer, songwriter, producer, DJ... in fact there’s not much he can’t do! After a change of pace Breach has found a sound that has kept him at the top of the game, with the huge release of ‘Fatherless’ on PTN004 a staple in any respectable set. If there’s a worthy blog then he’s done a mix for it, catch him on his amazing Boilerroom set (http://boilerroom.tv/breachs-40-min-mix/), FACT and XLR8R mix... but most importantly see him at Soup Kitchen!
Ben UFO - fast becoming known as the best DJ in the scene, and responsible for the founding of Hessle Audio, Ben UFO is a straight up bad man on the decks. We can’t put it any better than Boilerroom do: “in terms of selection, tightness and blends - Ben UFO just stands out from any other DJ we know. It’s honestly enough to make you want to give up.”
Blawan - producing possibly the best FACT mix of the year so far, Blawan is a DJ/producer set to do great things in 2011. His recent EP ‘Bohla’ released on the mighty R&S Records earlier this year, and it was huge! Expect drums galore throughout his time in the kitchen.
Cooly G - Rinse fm’s leading lady, and signed to Kode 9’s Hyperdub, Cooly G brings a welcome blend of House, UK Funky and Minimal to the night. Re-writing the book on club music, she is guaranteed to tear the roof down.
T. Williams - with over a decade under his belt at the forefront of electronic music, T. Williams can’t be pinned down by genre. And why would you want to, when his set could bring you anything from the deep corners of the music we love?! You may come away with a few more tracks to add to your favourites list.
As always, the venue will be announced 24 hours before the event on facebook or follow http://www.twitter.com/shefsoupkitchen... it’s the Soup Kitchen way!
