The only pre mastering ive done is on the Lead Bass and the Kick everything else is 100% dry. As this is just a rough idea at the moment. The only mastering ive done is a bit of soft clipping a change in the look ahead settings. Add a compressor with no gain and kept the ratio at 4.11 and fast attack, fast release setting. As well as Roll of the His and Lows and boost the mids by 1db. + getting all the levels peaking below -2db on the mixer.
Is their anything else you think i should add on the whole mix when all the instruments are enhanced Premastering. The only thing i can think of is a tiny bit of reverb and a stereo imager
I have a backup copy i can revert to without mastering. So any suggestions to improve it are welcome.
(Quick note - I dont have any monitors - I basically just have my macbook speakers and a £15 subwoofer set from Asda
