Kiwi drum 'n' bass supremos NZ Shapeshifter bring their blistering live show back to Edinburgh's Bongo Club with what's sure to be another sell-out show, following hit performances there for the last two years consecutively. Underground D&B heads and their established, loyal fanbase of Kiwis will already be familiar their last album The System is a Vampire, released to rave reviews on legendary UK breaks label, Hospital Records.
With a massive injection of South Pacific soul, Shapeshifter's sun-kissed recordings resemble early LTJ Bukem/Good Looking Records but on stage the band transforms into a fully-fledged killer live act, boasting more in common with festival headliners such as Pendulum and Kosheen than anything Bukem ever produced. More powerful than Jonah Lomu on a winning streak, Shapeshifter really are a turbulent force to be reckoned with!
