Sort of inspired by the Shell of Light thread couple weeks back, if you know a where an original sample was taken from on a track share it here.

Downloaded a sample pack the other week, and one of the samples was a quick organ tone that I knew i had heard before. Went and found this on my old CDS

and then did some more digging and found this gem where the sample is originally from (52 secs in)

What a tune

Heard this one on the radio the other day

Main lead+melody is from the Vengeance Electro Essentials CD, just sounds like they filtered it... Heard it in countless electro house, club tunes over the last couple of years, which is one of the reasons I sold that CD  . Some of her other songs probably have more. Whoever produced that one for her was probably laughing his way to the bank on that one.

ha was thinking about samples earlier, wondering where they came from.

anyone know the origin of samples from tunes like

SP:MC/Lx-One - untitled (mind of a killer)
Youngsta/Kryptic Minds - Cold Blooded
DJ Madd - battle
J:Kenzo - roteks (i actually know this one)

stuff like those tunes that usually have the vocal samples before the drop.
