Just wanted to drop a line here. Been listening and spinning juke/footwork for about a year now when I'm feeling a bit quirky, and the subs are right...

Normally I produce techno and house, but when in need of some creative reinforcement and a flip from the typical four-to-the-floor, I dick around the juke vibes...

Figured I'd share this little free EP I made earlier this summer. It's by no means 100% rooted juke...just my take on the sound, using my own methods. The great thing about the ghettotech/juke/footwork sound is that it's so open to interpretation and there are no hard and fast rules that so many people expect with dubstep, house, techno, etc...

So, with that said, check it out. Da Jukevasion, Vol. 1 by Will Azada.

Currently working on Volume 2, which I'll release later this month or next. It's already turning out better, since I've been working my juke chops quite a bit. Again, it will be free. Let me know if you end up liking or using any of these.
