Not bad, but fell asleep before the end. Liked the earlier character development, was a bit smashed to pay attention to the time travel plot.
Also whilst googling Star Trek, found this;

Deliver Us From Evil.
A documentary about how the Catholic church protected a pedophile priest in California.
An emotional watch but very well done, I highly recommend it.

This! Absolutely amazing documentary and really puts the scale of the crimes into focus. Have to admit this is the only film/doc that i've cried at. When the war vet is in tears talking about the moment they found out their daughter was being abused by O'Grady, the local priest, for about 12 years, I balled. Really reccomend seeing this though.

Watched this a couple of hours ago. Was alright, 5.5-6 out of 10. Was a bit disappointed tbh as these sort of films are my favourite.wub wrote:

thought it was alright but watching it inbetween Sword of doom and Yojimbo didn't do it any favourscityzen wrote:Watched this a couple of hours ago. Was alright, 5.5-6 out of 10. Was a bit disappointed tbh as these sort of films are my favourite.wub wrote:

Re: Secret Ninja Movie Club (aka what have you watched latel

13 ghosts..
torn with this one.. overall, it's terrible, but i'll still give it a 7.5 out of 10... why?
well, i love the camp and silliness of it, and the plot/aesthetics tickle my fancy, even if the soundtrack/plotline gets ridiculous. i mean, come on... tony shalhoub...? it's as if they wanted me to laugh the whole way through
i just love the scenery. really great. other than that, it's another teen horror crap movie.
totally different than what i expected. disappointing, if im honest. more camp than creepy.

Agreed, not the strongest I've seen in hindsight but I haven't watched a samurai film in time
Re: Secret Ninja Movie Club (aka what have you watched latel

Great film but dull ending!
Definitely worth a watch. Quite long though, 2 hours +.
