Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Pretty much the same as when I've been drinking tbh - sometimes you get the Jackie Chan Drunken Master vibes, sometimes you don't.

this.

it all depends. sometimes when i'm pissed i mix well, sometimes i'm a total shambles, sometimes when i'm mashed i mix well sometimes i'm terrible. it all depends. there is something nice about starting a mix and then smoking a spliff half way through, get into the zone before hand.

though saying that sometimes even when i'm totally sober i cant mix for shit. it depends on so many variables!

When I'm stoned I happen to do weird shits during my mix, I remember a house party where I mixed taxi driver's main theme because I had the cd in my car... I did mix it well but it was a dancefloor clearer hu hu

yeah i think that about sums it up...i were just monged out and yeah i just dont have the patience/concentration span to get it perfect...then i just wonder why then complain about it on a forum :/

it annoys me though because i feel like i should be able to mix consistently after doing it for so long

and ive never had the chance to smoke halfway through a mix unless i take my decks outside

I find it hard sometimes... But more often than not it's just amazing. There's nothing I love more than mixing some absolutely gorgeous deep bassline dubstep with a big fat joint in my fingers.

I've made all my best mixes when I am stoned. However in the cold light of sobriety...

just had another go and im beyond terrible

i cant work out in my head which tunes drifting ahead/behind of the other then when i do work it out its still impossible to get them both in sync

i over-correct too much everytime, to the point i can never ever get the right pitch.

bullshit

mixing's like riding a bike, once you can do it's second nature
