Princess Diaries 2 was painful to watch. I was on a 14 hour flight and needed entertainment.... After 20 minutes (i'm surprised I lasted that long) I opted to stare at the seat in front instead.
At least I made it all the way through Alpha Dog

On iPlayer at the moment, watched it last night. Low budget New Zealand horror comedy about sheep that start attacking people. Laughed our asses off.

Black Sheep is screening on HBO channels lately, I was disappointed it wasn't the one with Chris Farley and Gary Busey when I tuned in.

Just watched Machete, was very surprised about the quality. A lot of subtext about racism etc.. Fun to see De Niro in a political context
too.

From Californication style jokes to anime style killing it has it all :)

My favourite film is probably 2001: A space Odyssey - loads of people have said they couldn't stand it so turned off half way through :a: .... shame on them!!

Watched Winter's Bone and La Dolche Vita a couple nights ago. Both excellent movies.

A lotta my mates said the same thing. It's just not meant to be a constant thrill is what I think people miss. There's a palpable sense of dread in every frame if you pay attention - that's enough to keep me watching.

London to Brighton is amazing

watch Red Road for similar vibes
what is of value and wisdom for one man seems nonsense to another.
