What's your opinion on Nero?

Post by ComfiStile » Sun May 22, 2011 9:15 pm

Love or hate?

I don't see an awful lot of chat about them on dsf, so I was just wondering.

Personally, I like them, they seem to be a bit more 'musical' than a lot of the heavier producers out there. I though the production on 'Me & You' was pretty great.

I know alot of you don't really dig mainstream / dirty stuff, but I think Nero stand out from the rest, so I'd be interested on hearing your opinion.

Yeah, they're okay. It's probably cool not to like them as they're popular... must admit though probably my favourite tune of theirs is actually dnb...

I liked some of their DnB but never liked their dubstep, Guilt, Me & You and that new one with Sub Focus are all horrible to me.

This was one of the first tracks I heard from them and I really got into it. Havent really heard it for a while but its one ill always be happy to listen to.

Going down the Mainstream route like Chase and Status / Magnetic Man but they have skills. They had a brilliant set in Sheffield at the back end of last year which was pretty good.

always been a fan of bad trip!

Yeah, I can definitely appreciate their production skills... They've definitely got an original sound too. Lovin' tracks from them like Night Thunder, This Way, Me & You, Innocence, Guilt, etc.

Seen them to many times to count now, there all good, not particularly feeling there newer bits. But Shock! rmx is big, and there streets rmx's are fairly sweet.

I think they're very talented at production, but what they produce can be a bit cheesy. I liked their early Dubstep stuff but i've always liked there DnB stuff more. I prefer my cheese at/around 170bpm I suppose. Can't stand Innocence but that Electron tune is :h:

This is their first tune that brought them to my attention back in 2005. Still love it.
