Re: What's your guilty pleasure song?
Terrible song (off a largely terrible album), terrible video but it just won't escape my head.
Shame I couldn't find one with english subs.

I don't know if guilty is the right word, perhaps embaressing is more fitting.
It's not the sort of tune I would openly admit to listening to (and enjoying) to people I know, but then, I listen to a lot of music I wouldn't admit to.

Crystal Kay is pretty dope though, listened to a lot of her when I was living in Japan.

Re: What's your guilty pleasure song?
i like loads of pop music and stuff and don't really feel guilty for most of it. one song i DO feel guilty about is this because the shitness of this song and most of the album in comparison to the rest of her work is so cringeworthy i didn't listen to this for ages. but i started giving it a bop. it's a horrible, cheesy, bullshit rehash of a song by someone who's apparently run out of creative steam. but i like it.

If I get started in this thread, I'll never stop.
Also, there's no such thing as a guilty pleasure when it comes to art/music.

New album's even worse. I actually don't mind 'Far' to be honest, but it's definitely nowhere near as Songs or Soviet Kitschdubfordessert wrote:i like loads of pop music and stuff and don't really feel guilty for most of it. one song i DO feel guilty about is this because the shitness of this song and most of the album in comparison to the rest of her work is so cringeworthy i didn't listen to this for ages. but i started giving it a bop. it's a horrible, cheesy, bullshit rehash of a song by someone who's apparently run out of creative steam. but i like it.

it's weird though, there is no such thing as a guilty pleasure, but then again i would hesitate to play this track in front of certain people, they'd probably laugh. there's a lot more to the track that i like then the obvious rhythm..its the scale of the instruments..intonation of the voices..a lot of people i know wouldn't understand that. so in that case, i label it a guilty pleasure..something i'd only enjoy alone..with headphones.
