Quiddy's Forgotten Tune * Mensah, Jakes & Eddie K - Untitled

Post by Blerim » Sat May 21, 2011 6:11 pm

today's tune taken from the antisocial rinse fm show in mid/late 2010 when mensah guest appeared. Haven't heard this tune since, and haven't heard any info on it so it seems to be temporarily forgotten...

Re: Quiddy's Forgoten Tune * Silkie - Full Moon

Post by Blerim » Tue May 24, 2011 5:11 am

since Silkie has now announced his 2nd album tracklist and this is not featured, it's today's forgotten dubplate. From back in 2009, featured on the Dubstep Allstars 7 mix CD, this used to get heavy radioplay on the antisocial rinse fm show.

Re: Quiddy's Forgotten Tune * Skream - Fatty Drummer

Post by Blerim » Thu May 26, 2011 10:20 pm

didn't want to ever have to put today's tune up as 'forgotten', but its been around for over a year now and there's been no real info given out about a release... doesn't even get played that often any more by youngsta and co... regrettably it's Skream - Fatty Drummer :P:

I've heard Pinch play Fatty Drummer more than anyone in recent times.

have read a few threads saying fatty drummer was forthcoming deep medi including the forthcoming deep medi's thread... would be awesome tho no one has substantiated it and i could well just be getting wound up
"There is a lot of tension in the music that carries a satisfactory darkness with it, but it's also lazy music. You don't have to dance hard to move with it. It was born with a reefer in it's gob."

I probably prefer Fatty Drummer to all 4 tracks on his Disfigured Dubz EP put together.

Come on Skream, I still have faith :corndance:

fatty drummer still gets played by yunx tho! he just plays it a bit less, given all the newer bits.

definately a great tune, highlights skreams versatility nicely

Favourite Skream tune for me- begging for a release! Heard Mala drop this recently at the Sydney DMZ show, adds a bit of support to the Medi claims maybe?

Yeah it has a sort of Medi vibe about it anyway.
