^ that! Don't matter how old you are tho...

Was wondering what real dubstep is and who decides that? Seems like a lot of responsibility :)

I've been lurking around these boards for about a year or two now, but I'm 18 and from the DC area. There are some young heads in the US, few and far between but we still exist. Vinyl junkie, sub bass fan, and American teen.

Im 18 and have been listening to dubstep since around 2007. Its frustrating for me to see these people my age just getting into it and flippin shit over skrillex, borgore, datsik and shit like that, ill play and old-school coki song or something and they're like. "dude wtf is this crap"

I even had a friend dissing sweet shop saying it sounded like doctor P had no idea what he was doing.

'tis a shame IMO

When I was 14 (16 now) I saw Youngsta, Jack Sparrow, The Bug and King Cannibal... That night changed my life. :Q:

'Dubstep' didn't exist when I was a teenager.

I'm 16 and all the other kids from my school and area seem to all worship at the altar of that fucking bass cannon song

None of the teens in my area have even heard of dubstep, nor has anyone really. So instead of getting told how sick the beat in a Skrillex song is I get told how sick the beat in a Chris Brown song is.

I'm not quite sure what's worse.......
