Never had any problems with RedEye before, they just ship it out to you as soon as it gets released. The only problem I have heard of so far though is the Old Apparatus 12", but that's pretty much it really...
Also, if you are planning on ordering a whole batch of plates of which some are pre-order items, you also have the option to let them ship the items that are in stock already to you instantly, and the pre-order items seperately on the day they get released, you do need to pay double shipping for this of course. But you also have the option to not let them ship the order as soon as all the pre-order items are in stock as well.

So this is pretty much as good as it gets really. Because most shops just don't hip your order untill everything single item you ordered is in stock, so these extra option are really great.

For example, a couple of months ago I made a big order that included those limited single 12" BlackBoxxx releases and chose to not let them ship it untill all pre-orders were in stock, though I didn't know that the pre-orders weren't getting released untill a month and a half, or something like that. And because I was planning on making another order 2 weeks later I asked them if they could include the 'in stock' items that were put on hold from the first order with the second order, which was perfecty fine. So they sent me all items that were in stock from the first order and everything from my second order in 1 go, and then after 2-3 weeks they sent me the pre-orders of the first order.
So once again, big up to RedEye. They're service really is top notch imo.

The fact you can add card stiffeners to your order is good too. Yeah you need to pay a wee bit extra but half the time you don't get them from other places.

Really? I always thought that was a bit rich of them, ALWAYS had card stiffeners from chemical and juno, in fact, I don't remember NOT getting stiffeners with them.

I guess so, most places to use card stiffeners but I've hard a couple annoying times when they didn't send them, so I like knowing it's definitely gonna be posted with stiffeners, even if it does mean a wee bit extra.

It's true that you have to pay like 40 pence extra for card stiffeners at Redeye where they come for free at most other record shops, but seriously, I don't really think you'd need them because when you make larger orders Redeye wraps everything up in a sort of protective foam for free which makes extra card stiffeners pretty much useless.
Out of all my orders from Redeye I only paid for card stiffeners once and I've never had any damages to my plates so imo this isn't really something to argue about :P
