TIPS ON CREATEING DUBSTEP DRUMS

Hello everyone Im very new to dubstep, Im wondering in general what are all the "fx" that usually go on kicks,snares,hats etc to get that "dubstep" sound, if that makes sence haha.

For example, with a kick drum, when looking through samples, what specific attributes of a kick drum are you looking for that fx can be added to to get that dubstep sound?
