Pinch could have thrown in so much more to this, but he exercised careful restraint to make a piece of work filled with an overwhelming sense of unresolved tension. The interplay of rhythm is so sparse, yet emotional and effective. It's not what you add, but sometimes what you choose to leave out, that makes for effective music.

A composer friend of mine once said "If you find some music you hate, keep listening to it till you find out why."

The music we all listen to and enjoy, much like anything in our lives, is a reflection of ourselves and how we perceive the world around us. If we feed our minds with music that requires no patience, that lack of patience grows like a weed in garden of your mind. If we strive, as listeners, to demand more from ourselves, our appreciation for art grows tenfold, and we begin to notice and understand better the subtleties of life. I know a lot of people who read this may be 18 and just getting into Dubstep, but there's more to this music than just the music, and theres a reason beyond the obvious, that people complain about artists like Skrillex. Music is a personal relationship with yourself. Can I give you a better reason to dig deep?

I enjoy Pinch and I love this tune but I don't believe any of the Skrillex fans and going to understand this song listening to it on their macbook speakers....
